Don't You Just Love My Face? Sugar was born about November 15, xxxx and weighs about 35 lbs. Breed was really tough to guess here because she does resemble a Cairn, but she is slim and leggy, so we are really guessing. Anyway she is a cutie and just as sweet as they come. Here is her story: In xxxx she was dropped over the fence at a shelter in mid-west, they adopted her out and then she was returned in xxxx because she climbed the fence and we don't have any idea how tall that fence was, the notes are poor. I'm guessing by looking at her that she would be fine in a 5' or 6' vinyl or wooden fence, maybe she can climb chain link, but we'll be finding out about that once she is in the house. Oh, how do we have her? Well, there is this wonderful vet in that area that also does rescue and when we are low on dogs we meet her half way and bring them home and into the safety of New York that has a much lower kill rate than the mid-west. We know that she was good with the children in the home and the youngest was 10 and that she was good with the other dog. She has been wonderful here and someone out there is going to be thrilled to welcome her into your home. The Adoption Fee for this dog is $275.00. Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chipping & registration, worming & flea control - a 'complete' pet. Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Pet care and vet bills are expensive - you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility.
